Summary of Responsibilities
- Perform office-support and administrative functions for the Programme Management Unit
- Draft routine correspondence and produce documents and reports using word-processing tools
- Monitor schedules and document approvals to support compliance requirements
- Research and organise information for reports, work plans, briefings and meetings
- Provide secretarial and logistics support for meetings, events and missions
- Maintain calendars, files, databases, distribution lists and administrative records
- Process administrative requests including travel, contracts, expenditure and purchase documents
- Provide guidance on office procedures and computer applications to less experienced staff
Role Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum three years' experience in general office support or a related area
- English is required
- Applicants must be authorised to work for the United Nations in the New York duty station
Desired Criteria
- Experience within the UN common system or a comparable international organisation
