Job Description

Provides administrative, logistical and secretarial support to the Secretariat for negotiations on the Framework Convention on International Tax Cooperation. The role manages correspondence, documents, meeting logistics, calendars, data and office processes for the Financing for Sustainable Development Office. It helps the unit maintain information and deliver organised intergovernmental work.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Provide logistical and administrative support for international tax-cooperation negotiations
  • Draft routine correspondence and produce documents and reports
  • Monitor unit processes, schedules and compliance documentation
  • Research and organise materials for reports, work plans and meetings
  • Provide support for in-person, virtual and hybrid meetings and conferences
  • Maintain websites, calendars, files, databases and distribution lists
  • Process administrative documents including travel requests, contracts and expenditure authorisations
  • Guide less experienced staff on office processes and applications

Role Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least three years of experience in general office support or related areas
  • Experience using MS Office and web posting
  • Experience using integrated information-management systems such as SAP, Oracle, Inspira, Umoja or Unite Docs
  • English

Desired Criteria

  • Administrative support for meetings, conferences or workshops including logistics and travel arrangements
  • Research and report preparation
  • Experience in an international organisation
