Job Description

Supports UNICEF's global shared services by processing finance, human resources, recruitment and payroll transactions accurately and on time. The talent group supplies upcoming G-5 assistants who maintain data quality, client service, documentation and continuous process improvement.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Process finance, human resources, recruitment and payroll transactions accurately and on time
  • Verify data quality, confidentiality and compliance with policies and service standards
  • Prioritise case workloads and monitor completion against service-level agreements
  • Update knowledge articles, standard procedures and working documentation
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, streamline and standardise processes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and test business-process or system changes

Role Requirements

  • Secondary education with five years of relevant experience, bachelor's degree with two years of relevant experience, or master's degree with three years of relevant experience
  • Relevant experience in finance, human resources, administration or a related field
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Communication, presentation, problem-solving, digital-systems and task-prioritisation skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Hungarian or EU or Schengen nationality, or valid long-term Hungarian residence and work permits

Desired Criteria

  • Shared-services experience in human resources, onboarding, benefits, payroll or offboarding
  • Recruitment administration or talent-management support experience
  • Experience in accounts payable, master data, accounting, controlling, treasury, fraud prevention or corporate-card administration
  • Experience in a shared-service centre or international organisation
  • French or Spanish proficiency is particularly relevant
