Job Description

Leads talent-acquisition delivery for PAHO by coordinating sourcing, assessment, interviewing and selection against workforce plans. The specialist manages compliant recruitment operations, advises on HR policy and governance, improves processes through workforce data and HR systems, and builds partnerships that sustain internship, talent-pipeline and contingent-workforce programmes.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Coordinate sourcing, assessment, interviewing and selection across the talent-acquisition lifecycle
  • Manage vacancy announcements, candidate evaluations, interviews, selection documentation and recruitment reporting
  • Advise on HR policies, procedures, exceptions and governance frameworks for staff and non-staff recruitment
  • Administer and review recruitment and selection processes for quality, consistency, accuracy and compliance
  • Monitor recruitment and contingent-workforce activity using HR data, reporting and process-improvement initiatives
  • Build relationships with hiring managers, HR partners, technical units, academic institutions and external organisations to support internship and talent-pipeline programmes

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management, psychology, business administration or a field related to the post
  • Seven years of national and international human-resources-management experience focused on talent acquisition and recruitment
  • At least two years supervising and coordinating HR teams
  • Fluency in English or Spanish with working knowledge of the other language
  • Proficiency with enterprise resource planning and HR information systems for recruitment, onboarding and workforce data
