Job Description
The Sustainable Solutions Officer will support ADB climate-change operations in Türkiye from the Resident Mission in Ankara. The role integrates climate priorities into country programming, supports policy dialogue and investment design, and monitors climate finance, risks and emissions. It manages technical assistance, develops knowledge resources and training, coordinates reporting, and builds partnerships for climate investment.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Integrate climate priorities into country partnership strategy and programming
- Support climate engagement with ministries and implementing agencies
- Develop and monitor climate investment projects and technical assistance
- Track climate risks, climate finance and greenhouse-gas estimates
- Develop climate communication and knowledge-management resources
- Coordinate reporting on climate-related work and resource needs
- Build partnerships for co-financing and climate cooperation
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- At least eight years of climate-change mitigation, adaptation, policy, finance and project-implementation experience
- Proficiency in English and Turkish
- Two years of relevant experience outside ADB within the past five years
- Turkish nationality or permanent residency
Desired Criteria
- Advanced training in a relevant field
- Implementation experience in Türkiye
- Experience with multilateral financial institutions
