Job Description

WFP seeks a Supply Chain Officer in East Jerusalem to coordinate on-demand services. The consultant will manage demand assessment, agreements and delivery; maintain data systems; guide clients using the UN Booking Hub; monitor stock and inventory; support field offices and budgets; reconcile grants; assess logistics gaps; build capacity; and strengthen relationships.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Coordinate on-demand-service processes from assessment to delivery
  • Manage ODS data systems, trackers and procedures
  • Guide clients on the UN Booking Hub
  • Monitor stock movements and inventory systems
  • Support area and field offices
  • Prepare and monitor delivery budgets
  • Reconcile non-donor grants
  • Assess logistics gaps and build partner capacity

Role Requirements

  • Advanced degree in transport economics, supply chain, logistics, engineering, business management or related field
  • At least three years of postgraduate supply-chain or logistics experience
  • Experience in operational-context analysis, budget monitoring, reporting and project management
  • Fluency in English

Desired Criteria

  • Intermediate Arabic knowledge
  • Freight-forwarding, warehousing, inventory or contracting experience
