Job Description
UNFPA seeks a Logistics Associate consultant in Copenhagen to support freight, inventory, order fulfilment and shipment operations for reproductive-health commodities and humanitarian supplies. The 11-month on-site assignment manages logistics records, monitors supplier and shipment performance, supports reporting and continuous improvement, and strengthens service continuity across SCMU teams.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Support planning and execution of logistics operations for programme supplies and reproductive-health commodities
- Process and monitor customer orders, supply requests and logistics transactions through final delivery
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, third-party logistics providers and UNFPA business units
- Monitor inventory availability, replenishment activities, stock movements and shipment milestones
- Create logistics, inventory and freight purchase-order records in UNFPA enterprise systems
- Contribute to reporting, performance monitoring, standard operating procedures and business-continuity support
Role Requirements
- Completion of secondary education
- Minimum six years of relevant experience in inventory management, humanitarian response, logistics or related areas, reduced to three years with a relevant first-level or advanced university degree
- Knowledge of global supply-chain security, risk management and compliance regulations
- Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning systems
- Fluency in English
Desired Criteria
- Experience managing international or in-country inventory, procurement and logistics operations in the health area is an advantage
- Familiarity with UN-agency procurement and supply-chain policies and procedures is an advantage
- Experience in digitalization or logistics business-transformation projects is an asset
- Professional written and spoken presentation skills are an asset
