Supply Chain Officer

Leads IOM country-office supply-chain activities, integrating procurement, warehousing, transport, assets and vendor management to deliver goods and services efficiently. The role strengthens planning, tendering, internal controls, reporting and staff capability across supply-chain operations.

• Plan country-office supply-chain activities with internal and external stakeholders
• Assess logistics capacity, markets and commodity availability
• Coordinate supply-chain planning, budgeting, scheduling and service delivery
• Manage procurement, warehousing, transport, assets, facilities and logistics reporting
• Review procurement requests, vendor performance and supplier selection
• Oversee bids, tenders, purchase orders and receiving authorisation
• Establish internal controls that safeguard assets and prevent fraud
• Train and guide supply-chain staff and monitor professional development

• Master’s degree in business administration, supply-chain management, logistics, procurement or a related field with two years of relevant experience, or university degree with four years
• Experience managing diverse procurement and logistics operations
• Experience training and supervising teams and managing vendors and suppliers
• Fluency in English and Spanish

• Extensive knowledge of IOM or UN procurement and financial rules
• Knowledge of Oracle
