Senior Supply Chain Associate – AssetsNew

Coordinates procurement, logistics and asset management for IOM in the Central African Republic. The associate manages solicitations and orders, tracks suppliers and contracts, maintains asset records and inventories, supports flight bookings and guides teams on compliant supply-chain procedures.

• Coordinate purchase requests, solicitations, bid evaluations and order follow-up
• Support negotiations and resolve supplier delivery issues
• Advise requesters on specifications and compliant procurement procedures
• Identify and evaluate local and international suppliers and service providers
• Maintain contract, procurement and asset-tracking records and reports
• Record asset assignments, transfers, returns, losses and disposals
• Conduct physical asset inventories and reconcile results in MAIA
• Coordinate logistics with United Nations agencies, partners and authorities
• Support local passenger and cargo flight bookings and supervise junior staff

• High school diploma with 6 years of relevant experience or a university degree with 4 years
• Experience in procurement, logistics and supplier relationships
• Experience in asset-management processes
• French and English proficiency in speaking and writing
• Certification in procurement, logistics or supply-chain management

• Experience with IOM or United Nations procurement and logistics rules
• Experience in an international and multicultural organisation
• Experience training and coordinating teams
• Working knowledge of local languages
