Driver

Provides safe, efficient transport and vehicle support for IOM Dominican Republic in Santo Domingo. The Driver maintains vehicles and records, completes routine checks and minor repairs, transports personnel and materials, supports administrative tasks and applies confidentiality and safety procedures on all journeys.

• Drive assigned IOM vehicles safely for official duties
• Complete daily vehicle checks and arrange minor repairs
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, service schedules and spare-parts records
• Plan safe routes and keep mileage and fuel records
• Transport mail, documents, pouches and other official items
• Support simple administrative tasks when required
• Protect confidential information and mitigate transport security risks

• Secondary education certificate or university degree from an accredited institution
• Valid national driving licence
• At least five years of driving experience
• Knowledge of driving regulations and experience operating manual and automatic vehicles
• Ability to make minor vehicle repairs
• Fluency in spoken and written Spanish
