Senior Driver

Provides safe transport for WFP leaders, United Nations officials and visitors in Ukraine and coordinates other drivers. The senior driver manages airport assistance, vehicle logs, fuel and maintenance, follows security and accident procedures, supports field deliveries and performs basic office tasks.

Department: Fleet and Transport

• Transport senior staff, officials, visitors and authorised items safely
• Plan routes and schedules for other drivers
• Meet official visitors and assist with visa and customs formalities
• Maintain vehicle logs and report mechanical and fuel status
• Coordinate maintenance, travel authorisations and onboard equipment
• Follow field-delivery, security and accident procedures
• Perform basic office, filing, mailing and stores tasks
• Provide basic local-language translation during transport

• Completion of secondary school and formal driver training
• Valid B and C or C1 driving licences
• At least three years of driving experience with a safe record
• Experience driving manual-transmission vehicles
• Knowledge of local roads, security issues and chauffeur protocols
• Ability to assess vehicle condition and perform minor repairs
• Fluency at level C in English and Ukrainian
