Responsibilities
- Coordinate official travel for civilian, police and military personnel
- Calculate airfare, baggage, terminal, freight and subsistence entitlements
- Advise travellers and programme managers on routes, schedules and economical fares
- Reserve flights, negotiate fares, issue or reissue tickets and process reimbursements
- Pre-audit itineraries, authorisations, claims and supporting documents for compliance
- Coordinate transit and residence visas with consulates and host authorities
- Maintain travel-authorisation records and document organisational savings
Requirements
- Secondary-school diploma or equivalent
- At least seven years of travel administration experience including fare construction, routing and reimbursement
- English and French at UN Level III
- Authorisation to work at the locally recruited Geneva duty station
