Responsibilities
- Research and collect information on human-rights concerns and violations
- Analyze political, legal and gender dimensions of the human-rights situation
- Draft briefings, interview notes, correspondence and analytical reports
- Support hearings, consultations, advocacy and community mobilization
- Coordinate baseline data collection with government, NGOs and UN partners
- Create charts, tables and reports for data-driven planning
Requirements
- Advanced degree in law, political science, international relations, social sciences or a related field, or a first degree with two years of qualifying experience
- Two years of relevant experience is required with a first-level degree; no experience is required with an advanced degree
- English, Ukrainian and Russian at the required UN proficiency
- Nationality of Ukraine is required for the National Professional Officer category
