Responsibilities

  • Assess climate impacts and risks across agricultural sectors
  • Analyze climate variability, extremes and agrifood-system vulnerability
  • Review climate-service production and delivery to farmers
  • Use observation, forecasting and early-warning information
  • Draft technical documents, guidelines and scientific reports
  • Develop training materials and support climate-project formulation

Requirements

  • Relevant advanced degree for consultants or university degree for personal service agreement holders
  • One year for Category C, five years for Category B or ten years for Category A in climate-impact, climate-service or agrifood-risk work
  • Working English
  • Ability to analyze climate, agronomic, socioeconomic, remote-sensing and environmental data
