Overview

Lead monitoring and evaluation for FAO's GCF-funded PNG REDD+ project by designing the M&E plan and web system, validating and analysing performance data, aligning indicators and risk signals, coordinating field monitoring, preparing donor and board reports, supporting evaluations and ensuring FAO, government and GCF compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement the project monitoring and evaluation plan
  • Track outputs, outcomes and impacts against project frameworks and indicators
  • Manage the web-based M&E system and assure data quality
  • Integrate results and implementation data in FPMIS
  • Develop early-warning mechanisms for risks and delivery challenges
  • Coordinate field monitoring missions and document follow-up actions
  • Prepare GCF annual and Project Board semi-annual performance reporting
  • Support audits, mid-term and final evaluations and project closure

Requirements

  • University degree in economics, environmental science, forestry, natural-resource management, development studies, project management, monitoring and evaluation, statistics or a related field
  • At least five years of relevant monitoring, evaluation or results-based-management experience
  • Working knowledge of English at level C1
  • Papua New Guinea nationality
