Overview
Coordinates UNDP vehicle operations and administrative transport services for staff, partners and high-level missions. Responsibilities
- Plan vehicle use, driver assignments and emergency transport coverage for UNDP offices
- Maintain vehicle registrations, insurance, mechanical condition and repair coordination
- Keep vehicle documentation, inventories, maintenance records and fuel-consumption logs
- Compile accurate mileage, trip and cost data for cost-recovery billing
- Supervise drivers and enforce transport, dress-code and safety requirements
- Translate and interpret administrative and financial documents between Arabic, English and Hebrew
- Coordinate vehicles, drivers, routes and communications for high-level missions
- Liaise with transport authorities and process licence and fleet-registration matters
Requirements
- High school diploma with four years of fleet-management experience, or bachelor’s degree with one year of relevant experience
- Valid driver’s licence and clean driving record
- Armoured vehicle driving certification
- Public driving licence
- Knowledge of driving rules and regulations
- Experience using computers, office software and web-based management systems
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Arabic
