National Supply Chain Officer

Manages supply-chain delivery for IOM emergency operations in Legaspi City, with responsibility for warehouse operations. The officer supervises procurement and logistics staff, runs compliant tenders, manages vendors and purchase orders, controls inventory and facilities, and coordinates transport and distribution.

Department: Resources Management Unit

• Supervise procurement under IOM controls and tendering rules
• Coordinate emergency procurement, warehousing, transport and distribution
• Evaluate suppliers and monitor vendor performance
• Track purchase orders and delivery changes
• Manage warehouse receipt, storage, dispatch and inventory control
• Train and supervise procurement and logistics assistants
• Coordinate stock counts and warehouse reporting
• Maintain warehouse and office facilities and equipment
• Manage vendor accreditation and tender documents

• Master’s degree in a relevant field or university degree with two years of relevant experience
• Fluency in Tagalog and English
• Experience managing procurement and logistics operations
• Experience training and supervising staff and managing suppliers

• Special short-term graded appointment of up to nine months
• National Professional Officer appointment for a Philippine national
• Recommended candidates may remain eligible for similar posts for 24 months
