Responsibilities

  • Plan procurement activities and apply anti-fraud and transparency controls
  • Process purchase requisitions, quotations, bid analyses, purchase orders and payment requests
  • Route procurement documents through the mission authorisation matrix
  • Coordinate customs clearance, imports, exports and duty-free documentation
  • Maintain asset inventories and manage supplies, insurance claims and compliant disposal
  • Maintain vehicle registration, tax, insurance and purchasing records
  • Arrange maintenance, office security and continuity of essential utilities
  • Undertake clearing and forwarding assignments for IOM consignments

Requirements

  • Secondary school diploma with four years of experience, or bachelor’s degree in law or a related field with two years of experience
  • Experience in international or public procurement, contracts or supplier management
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Fluency in English and Swahili
