Summary of Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the pilot desk’s procurement, planning, logistics and advisory performance
  • Assess effects on domestic resource mobilisation, partner engagement and programme delivery
  • Review governance, reporting lines, administrative arrangements and ICT integration
  • Compare the pilot structure with supply-chain support models in other regions
  • Interview headquarters, regional, country-office and supplier stakeholders online
  • Identify successes, bottlenecks, risks and lessons from the pilot
  • Prepare a lessons-learned report with evidence-based recommendations
  • Draft a global service-desk blueprint if the evidence supports expansion

Role Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in supply chain management, business administration, international relations or a related field
  • At least seven years of international supply-chain management experience
  • Track record evaluating decentralised operational models and organisational design
  • Deep understanding of procurement, logistics and last-mile assurance in fragile and humanitarian contexts
  • Ability to synthesise complex digital-platform data into strategic recommendations
  • Fluency in English

Desired Criteria

  • Previous experience in the United Nations system or international non-governmental organisations
  • Field experience
  • Proficiency in French
