Procurement and Logistics Associate

The associate manages competitive procurement, purchase orders, vendors and logistics for UNFPA Pakistan, sustaining reproductive-health commodity supply through forecasting, inventory, distribution and customs coordination while training partners, maintaining compliant records and supporting programme administration.

Department: Operations

• Run quotation, tender and proposal processes and evaluate supplier offers
• Prepare procurement reports and contract-review submissions
• Conduct market research and advise requestors on specifications and sourcing
• Create and manage purchase orders in the enterprise resource-planning system
• Track reproductive-health commodity stocks, procurement plans and distribution
• Coordinate customs clearance and transport to target districts
• Train partners on logistics information systems and inventory controls
• Maintain transaction records, project files, meeting documentation and asset updates

• Completed secondary education
• At least six years of progressively responsible experience in procurement, logistics or supply-chain management
• Experience supporting purchase requests, vendor coordination, delivery tracking and procurement documentation
• Working knowledge of forecasting, inventory management, warehousing and distribution
• Familiarity with procurement and logistics enterprise systems
• Proficiency in standard office software
• Fluency in oral and written English
