Supply Chain Officer

Leads regional supply-chain management support for IOM country offices, overseeing procurement, logistics, contracting and compliance. The Supply Chain Officer develops sourcing strategies, manages vendor and partner processes, and strengthens internal controls. • Review procurement requests and develop sourcing strategies with qualified vendors
• Coordinate solicitation, tendering, evaluation and contracting under IOM procurement rules
• Support programme teams with procurement plans, bidding documents and contract management
• Strengthen internal controls to manage risk, prevent fraud and ensure donor compliance
• Oversee warehouses, inventory, fleet, transportation and distribution operations
• Deliver supply-chain training and capacity building for country-office staff

• Master's degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, procurement or a related field with five years of relevant experience
• University degree in those fields with seven years of relevant experience
• Experience managing diverse procurement and logistics operations
• Experience training and managing large teams, vendors and suppliers
• Fluency in English and French

• Oracle knowledge is an advantage
