Job Description

Support IOM's Ankara office with end-to-end procurement and supply-chain operations, from requisitions and tenders to supplier contracts, payments and delivery follow-up. The role maintains compliant records, supports market research and asset management, and helps coordinate transport, facilities, workshops and operational reporting in line with IOM procedures.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Review procurement requisitions and ensure they comply with authorization requirements
  • Prepare tender documents, solicit bids and develop bid-analysis summaries
  • Prepare purchase orders and contracts and coordinate required approvals
  • Track requisitions, deliveries, supplier invoices and payment requests
  • Maintain procurement records, conduct supplier market surveys and support asset, transport and facilities operations

Role Requirements

  • University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field with two years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma with four years
  • Fluency in English and Turkish

Desired Criteria

  • Certification in Procurement, Logistics or Supply Chain Management is an advantage
  • Experience with IOM or UN procurement and logistics rules is an advantage
  • Experience in an international organization is an advantage
