Job Description

Supports UNHCR's end-to-end supply chain in Armenia, covering planning, procurement, transport, customs, warehousing, assets and fleet management. The role prepares tenders and purchase orders, follows deliveries, maintains business-system and inventory records, supports physical verification and disposal of property, and provides supply analysis and reports that help the operation deliver goods and services efficiently.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Support timely end-to-end delivery of goods and services under supply-chain procedures
  • Apply sourcing and procurement strategies for important commodities and services
  • Initiate customs clearance, prepare exemption requests and liaise with local agents
  • Prepare quotation requests, tenders, bid tabulations and purchase orders
  • Follow deliveries and provide procurement-status information to requesters
  • Maintain accurate supply records and data in business systems
  • Support warehousing, asset registration, physical verification and property disposal
  • Compile supply statistics, reports and decision-support information

Role Requirements

  • Two years of relevant experience with a high school diploma, or one year with a bachelor's degree or higher
  • Demonstrated experience in procurement, warehousing, customs clearance, asset management, fleet management or inventory control
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Armenian at B2 level or higher
  • Legal presence in Armenia at the time of application, recruitment and hire
  • Applicants must not have a mother, father, son, daughter, brother or sister employed by UNHCR
