Supply Assistant

Supports MONUSCO’s General Supply Unit in Goma by processing authorised requisitions, issuing and inspecting goods, monitoring inventory and property records, coordinating write-offs and contributing budget data so mission supplies remain accountable and available to operational teams.

• Verify authorised supply requisitions against monthly unit requirements
• Issue approved supplies promptly to requesting offices
• Monitor stock levels, expiry dates and inventory discrepancies
• Receive and inspect vendor deliveries with the inspection unit
• Maintain stock cards, requisition records and supply databases
• Support specifications, evaluations and local contract presentations
• Process property inventories, write-offs and disposal handovers
• Prepare inventory reports and budget projections

• Minimum three years of progressively responsible experience in inventory, supply, property management, logistics, warehousing, procurement, administration or a related field
• Supply-chain specialisation
• Ability to live and work in difficult and harsh conditions
• English

• Experience with enterprise resource planning systems such as Umoja
• Experience in a UN field mission or UN agency
