Job Description

Supports UNFPA’s Supply Chain Solutions team in delivering third-party procurement services. The analyst coordinates compliant procurement and partner service delivery, strengthens staff capacity, manages supply-chain relationships and operational improvement, and contributes data, reporting and inputs for partnerships and resource mobilisation. for external partners

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Coordinate supply-chain services for external partners under procurement policies
  • Support implementation of the Supply Chain Solutions strategy
  • Resolve operational procurement issues with risk-mitigating solutions
  • Prepare operational reports and participate in business reviews
  • Review and implement standard operating procedures for compliant service delivery
  • Train procurement associates and supply-chain professionals
  • Promote UNFPA supply-chain services with external partners and industry experts
  • Provide operational data for resource mobilisation and represent SCMU in operational meetings

Role Requirements

  • Advanced university degree
  • At least two years of relevant experience in supply chain, procurement, marketing, partnerships, fundraising, sales, customer service or related areas
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain partnerships with governments or donors
  • Professional written and spoken presentation skills
  • Fluency in English

Desired Criteria

  • Project-management skills
  • Knowledge of sexual and reproductive health commodities
  • Experience managing procurement and logistics operations in health
  • Experience managing people
  • Familiarity with UN, public-sector or NGO procurement operations
  • Experience with analytical applications, spreadsheets, databases and dashboards
