Job Description
Provides strategic leadership for IOM’s migrant-protection portfolio in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, spanning return, reintegration and counter-trafficking work. The coordinator directs programme delivery, teams, budgets and compliance, builds partnerships with government, donors and UN actors, and ensures protection is mainstreamed across projects, policy and operational planning.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Lead development and implementation of the Protection Programme
- Manage operational, administrative and financial aspects of protection projects
- Supervise protection officers and project staff
- Coordinate programme delivery with regional and country offices
- Ensure data collection and donor reporting using MIMOSA
- Maintain compliance with IOM and donor requirements
- Represent the programme in coordination forums
- Develop donor relationships and project proposals
Role Requirements
- Master’s degree in a relevant field with seven years of relevant professional experience, or university degree with nine years
- Fluency in English and French, oral and written
Desired Criteria
- Experience in movement-operations programmes
- Experience with IOM or other UN agencies
