Job Description

Leads IOM Iraq’s prevention and response to sexual exploitation, abuse and sexual harassment through a victim-centred approach. The officer develops workplans, integrates PSEAH across programming, coordinates inter-agency mechanisms, manages risk and data, and builds staff and partner capacity. The role strengthens safe reporting channels, survivor referrals and accountable protection practice across the mission.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the operational PSEAH workplan
  • Integrate PSEAH into country strategy and programming
  • Coordinate IOM and inter-agency PSEA mechanisms
  • Analyse PSEAH data and report results
  • Assess SEAH risks and implement mitigation measures
  • Develop and deliver PSEAH training
  • Strengthen safe reporting channels and survivor referrals
  • Monitor survivor safety and response risks

Role Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field with five years of relevant professional experience, or university degree with seven years
  • Fluency in English, oral and written

Desired Criteria

  • Working knowledge of Arabic, French or Spanish
