Summary of Responsibilities
- Identify and prioritise field protection risks for mainstreaming and mitigation
- Coordinate protection activities and compile regular programme reports
- Support partners with case management, community protection and minimum standards
- Strengthen referral pathways, mentoring and partner capacity on protection practice
- Collect and analyse protection data to guide assistance for affected populations
- Contribute to inter-agency coordination, community feedback and information campaigns
Role Requirements
- University degree in law, social work, psychology, political science, social sciences, humanities, international relations or a related field with four years of relevant experience, or a school diploma with six years
- Experience in protection programming involving case management, human rights, trafficking in persons or protection monitoring
- Fluency in Spanish, oral and written
- Working knowledge of English according to operational needs
Desired Criteria
- Specialised training in protection in emergencies, case management, GBV risk mitigation, child protection, counter-trafficking, AAP, PSEA or humanitarian coordination
- Experience supporting protection mainstreaming across CCCM, shelter, WASH, health or MHPSS
- Experience tracking workplans, donor reporting and data-protection standards
