Job Description

Delivers individual protection case management for migrants participating in assisted voluntary return in the Dominican Republic. The role assesses vulnerabilities, develops care plans, coordinates specialised referrals and post-arrival assistance, and maintains confidential case records. It works with protection, health and operational colleagues to deliver safe, dignified and informed support.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual protection assessments and develop care plans
  • Provide case management and coordinate specialised referrals
  • Support safe and dignified post-arrival assistance
  • Explain available assistance to beneficiaries
  • Maintain confidential case records in MiMOSA
  • Coordinate service delivery with health, psychosocial and logistics teams
  • Strengthen referral networks with local protection actors
  • Contribute case reports and protection monitoring

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with four years of relevant professional experience, or master’s degree with two years
  • Fluency in Spanish

Desired Criteria

  • Training in case management, protection, migration, AVRR, monitoring and evaluation, PSEAH or gender-based violence
  • Experience in movement-operations programmes
  • Experience with UN agencies
