Job Description
Support IOM Venezuela's field-level protection response for displaced and earthquake-affected people in Caracas. The role helps deliver community engagement, protection monitoring, assessments, referrals, information management and awareness activities, while handling sensitive data confidentially and applying protection principles, safeguarding, accountability to affected populations and PSEA requirements.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Support beneficiary registration, assessments and protection documentation
- Provide information on protection services and referral pathways
- Record protection needs and maintain confidential case information
- Facilitate referrals to specialised protection and social services
- Support community outreach, awareness sessions and protection monitoring
Role Requirements
- High school diploma with 5 years of experience or bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 3 years of experience
- Experience supporting protection activities with affected or vulnerable populations
- Fluency in Spanish
Desired Criteria
- Experience with children or semi-independent living units
- Knowledge of child protection
- Training in protection, GBV-risk mitigation, counter-trafficking, AAP, PSEA, disability inclusion or humanitarian response
