Job Description
Leads IOM's private-sector fundraising and engagement strategy in the United States, growing corporate and foundation partnerships that support global operations and flexible funding. The officer manages the fundraising pipeline, develops propositions and investment cases, and represents IOM to business audiences while aligning market activity with global private-sector strategy and programme priorities.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Lead implementation of the Global Private Sector Strategy in the United States
- Develop and execute a U.S. private-sector fundraising and engagement plan
- Cultivate corporate and foundation partners and close funding agreements
- Manage fundraising pipeline, proposals, negotiations and stewardship
- Prepare funding propositions, concept notes and investment cases
- Represent IOM to the U.S. business community on responsible business practices
Role Requirements
- Master’s degree in business management, Political Science, Human Rights, International Relations, Marketing or related field with seven years of experience, or university degree with nine years
- Fluency in English
- Working knowledge of one additional UN language
- Valid U.S. residence and work permit
Desired Criteria
- Working knowledge of another official UN language
