Summary of Responsibilities
- Design and manage sector-focused stocktakes that assess strategies, portfolios and implementation pathways
- Set analytical architectures covering outcome questions, indicators, targets, baselines, scenarios and evidence standards
- Integrate operational, financial and evaluative data to identify performance trends, delivery gaps and opportunities
- Convert evidence into management choices, accountable actions, milestones and follow-up routines
- Lead the High-Level Council on Jobs work program, member engagement and analytical deliverables
- Support the product cycle for AI-enabled outcomes tools from user research through evaluation and adoption
- Develop executive briefs, dashboards and guidance that connect stocktake findings to institutional learning
Role Requirements
- Advanced degree, preferably a Master's or PhD, in an explicitly stated economics, policy, development, data, statistics or related field
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in development economics, delivery-unit practice, portfolio analytics, outcomes or multilateral advisory work
- Advanced quantitative analysis, including statistical or econometric analysis, forecasting, benchmarking and data validation
- Experience with senior-level stocktakes, delivery or portfolio reviews and translating findings into actions
- Fluency in English
Desired Criteria
- Proficiency in Python, R, Stata or SQL is highly desirable
- Additional languages are desirable
- Experience applying behavioural insights, experimentation or user-centred research is highly desirable
