Senior Operations Officer

Provides operational management and advisory support to UNOPS' Legal Group, focusing on its Dispute Resolution Practice. The officer coordinates workflows, contracts, procurement and financial processes; monitors portfolio performance and risks; and delivers operational analysis, reporting and recommendations that enable timely decisions and effective dispute-resolution administration.

• Oversee operational administration of contracts, purchase orders, invoices and payments
• Support procurement and long-term agreements for external counsel and service providers
• Coordinate with counsel, tribunals, vendors and institutional stakeholders
• Maintain portfolio trackers, dashboards and monitoring tools for dispute-resolution matters
• Analyze portfolio risks, financial exposure and operational bottlenecks
• Manage case and knowledge-management systems and operational records
• Prepare decision-support analysis, briefings and reports for management

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Administrative Management or a related field
• Minimum four years of relevant professional experience in administration, operations, legal administration, procurement support, contract administration, invoice management or project support
• Experience using Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
• Fluent English

• Master's degree in a relevant field
