Job Description
UNOPS seeks an Operations and Finance Specialist in Geneva to support the Global Fund for Coral Reefs Secretariat. The IICA-2 role leads programme and fund operations, partner due diligence, grant transfers, financial reporting, budget monitoring and administrative coordination across procurement, HR, travel and logistics, ensuring compliant and efficient delivery of the Fund’s global workplan.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Guide recipient organizations on operational process requirements
- Coordinate grant transfers and due diligence for partners
- Review implementing-partner financial expenditure reports
- Develop and monitor GFCR budgets and allocations
- Coordinate procurement, HR, travel, logistics and administrative processes
Role Requirements
- Master degree in Public Administration, Public Policy, MBA finance, accounting or related field
- Minimum five years of relevant experience in operations, financial reporting or project-management support
- Proven experience in budget management
- Advanced knowledge of office software and web-based management systems such as ERP
Desired Criteria
- Experience organizing events or complex field missions
- Experience working with the UN system or a multilateral development agency
