Supports FAO's Regional Office for the Near East and North Africa in coordinating and monitoring project-cycle operations. Summary of Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day RNE project operations throughout the project cycle
- Prepare and process operational documentation, implementation plans and records
- Monitor operational processes, risks and audit-recommendation follow-up
- Prepare reports, briefs, presentations and operational documentation
- Compile and analyse information for decision-making and reporting
- Coordinate technical units, administrative services and stakeholders on operational compliance
- Maintain monitoring tools, databases and information systems
- Support meetings, workshops, missions and correspondence with partners
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in business administration, economics, international development, agriculture, project management, public administration, international relations or a related discipline; a bachelor's degree requires two additional years of relevant experience
- At least one year of relevant experience in programme or project management, operations, coordination or related areas
- Working knowledge of English
Desired Criteria
- Experience with United Nations system or international organizations
- Knowledge of FAO programme management procedures and systems
