Project Management Expert

Joins FAO's roster of project-management specialists for assignments across headquarters or decentralized offices. The expert leads day-to-day project delivery, budgets, workplans, risks, personnel and partners while maintaining results frameworks, reporting and closure readiness.

Department: Project Support Division – Project Cycle Team

• Lead day-to-day implementation and supervise affiliate project personnel
• Prepare, monitor and update workplans, budgets and corporate project-management tools
• Maintain logical frameworks and monitor project results
• Manage personnel, goods, services, implementing partners and service providers
• Manage risks, stakeholder relations, reporting, deliverables and project closure

• Advanced university degree in public or business administration, finance, accounting, economics, social sciences or another relevant field
• Ten years of relevant project and programme management experience
• Bachelor's-degree holders require two additional years of relevant experience
• Working knowledge of at least one FAO language
