Overview

Supports IOM Iraq’s return and reintegration portfolio through financial monitoring, budget and cash-flow forecasting, expenditure analysis, project controls, procurement and access coordination, operational systems design, resource mobilisation and field-based monitoring of programme delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor project expenditure, funding availability and cash flow
  • Prepare expenditure plans, forecasts and internal monitoring reports
  • Draft project budgets and analyse budget-to-actual variances
  • Track commitments, staff projectisation and donor-compliant records
  • Design operational systems, processes and tools
  • Support procurement, transport and field access across Iraq
  • Conduct monitoring visits and flag accountability issues

Requirements

  • University degree in accounting, business administration or a related field with five years of relevant experience, or high school completion with seven years
  • Experience in emergency settings and complex environments
  • Experience in administrative and financial management, budget monitoring, cash management and internal controls
  • Office-software, spreadsheet and data-analysis experience
  • Fluency in English
  • Valid residence and work permit for Iraq
