Finance Officer (Invoice Processing)

Leads regional invoice processing and provides technical oversight across accounting, payments, bank reconciliation, fixed assets and vendor services. The officer safeguards financial-record integrity, supervises teams and improves controls, processes and service quality.

Department: Shared Services Centre Finance

• Lead regional invoice-processing operations and supervise accounting teams
• Oversee payments, fixed assets, bank reconciliations and vendor services
• Apply FAO accounting policies, UN financial rules and IPSAS requirements
• Analyze financial information and strengthen controls, reporting and business processes

• Master’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or a related field with seven years of experience, or bachelor’s degree with nine years plus a recognized finance or accounting qualification
• Working knowledge of English
• Intermediate knowledge of another FAO official language
• Experience in accounting and management of accounting functions
