Senior CIRT Technical and Operations Consultant

ITU seeks senior consultants to strengthen national Computer Incident Response Team (CIRT) capabilities across member states, deploying and integrating cybersecurity tools and delivering technical training. The consultant will assess infrastructure, design CIRT architecture, and support long-term operational sustainability.

• Assess national CIRT infrastructure and security controls
• Define CIRT technical architecture and specifications
• Install, configure and integrate core CIRT platforms
• Deploy CIRT web portal and communication tools
• Perform testing and deliver technical training to CIRT staff
• Provide remote support and prepare handover documentation

• Advanced university degree in computer science, engineering (telecommunications, systems, cybersecurity) or related field
• At least 7 years of professional experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response, including at least 3 at the international level
• Advanced English required

• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA or ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer an asset
• Knowledge of another official Union language an advantage
