Job Description
ITU is building a roster of conference interpreters to provide simultaneous and consecutive interpretation between the six official ITU languages during conferences, meetings and field missions in Geneva. Assignments range from one day to two months and require proven simultaneous interpretation experience.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Provide accurate simultaneous or consecutive interpretation during ITU conferences, meetings and field missions
- Work effectively as part of an interpreter team, occasionally leading assignments
- Handle sensitive or high-level meetings with discretion and professionalism
Role Requirements
- University degree in Interpretation, Translation, Linguistics, Languages or related field
- At least 1 year of experience in conference (simultaneous) interpretation
- Native command of at least one of the six official ITU languages plus ability to interpret from two or more other official languages
Desired Criteria
- Experience with remote interpretation platforms an advantage
- Knowledge of additional official languages an advantage
