Roster - ITU-FCDO Technical Support and Coordination Consultant

ITU is building a roster of consultants to support ITU-FCDO Digital Access Programme activities in Brazil, Indonesia, Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa, providing technical and coordination support on connectivity, digital regulation and skills. Open only to nationals of these five DAP countries. Assignments are home-based, 60 working days.

• Provide coordination and technical support for ITU-FCDO country workplan activities
• Maintain relationships with government, FCDO DAP team and stakeholders
• Coordinate project stakeholders and provide regular progress updates
• Conduct research and contribute to publications, training and workshops
• Prepare mission reports and progress reviews

• Must be a national of Brazil, Indonesia, Kenya, Nigeria or South Africa
• University degree in telecommunication, IT, law, international development, business administration or related field
• At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in telecommunication projects/programmes in international development, including 2 years at international level
• ICT policy and regulatory experience required
• Knowledge of English at advanced level; national language at advanced level required for Brazil and Indonesia candidates
