Military Support Coordinator

MONUSCO seeks a UN Volunteer Military Support Coordinator to coordinate military ICT services, force-protection technology and operational support. The role manages technical stakeholders and contingents, monitors ICT delivery and readiness, supports surveillance and intelligence systems, coordinates projects, procurement and assets, manages incidents and information governance, and develops.

• Coordinate ICT support services for military components and Force Headquarters
• Monitor military ICT-contingent tasking, service delivery and technical compliance
• Support deployment and lifecycle management of force-protection technologies
• Coordinate support for surveillance, satellite imagery and intelligence technology platforms
• Monitor project schedules, risks, procurement and equipment acceptance
• Maintain technology-asset records and support inventory reconciliation

• At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in ICT operations, military communications, infrastructure management or related technology functions
• Experience managing complex technical projects and operational-support activities
• Experience coordinating stakeholders, vendors, contractors or support teams
• Experience supporting military, peacekeeping, security or emergency-response operations
• English and French

• Experience as Signal Company leader or Chief U6
• Experience with force-protection technologies, surveillance systems or intelligence-support platforms
• Experience in UN peacekeeping operations or international organizations
• Experience in hardship or remote duty stations
