Job Description
Support UNCTAD's digital customs-management work in Liberia as an IT Systems Analyst. The UN Volunteer develops Java applications and web services, maintains Oracle-backed information systems, contributes to database and SQL work, and uses Agile methods to strengthen reliable technology services, system delivery and technical support for trade modernisation.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Develop software applications supporting digital customs management
- Design and develop complex information-management systems using Java and web services
- Manage relational databases and SQL with Oracle
- Contribute to reliable system delivery using Agile methods
- Support installation, configuration and maintenance of technology systems
Role Requirements
- At least three years of software-application development experience with a Master's degree or five years with a bachelor's degree
- Experience designing and developing complex Java information-management systems and web services
- Experience with relational database management systems, SQL and Oracle
- English
Desired Criteria
- Familiarity with Linux installation, configuration and maintenance
- Background working within an Agile approach and Agile project-management tools
