Information Systems Officer

Designs and delivers enterprise applications for OICT's Enterprise Application Center in Valencia, translating user needs into integrated, secure and maintainable systems. The post leads systems analysis, development, testing and user support, while strengthening service delivery, data-driven planning and technology adoption across United Nations client operations.

• Manage feasibility studies, systems analysis, design and implementation of complex applications
• Develop functional specifications and user documentation for major systems
• Translate user requirements into applications and resolve systems-integration issues
• Maintain and enhance user systems while troubleshooting complex operational problems
• Develop integrated computer programmes with appropriate data security and access controls
• Organise unit and integrated testing and support user acceptance testing
• Develop training materials and train staff in assigned systems
• Coordinate service-level agreements between OICT and its clients

• Advanced degree in computer science, information systems, mathematics, statistics or a related field, or a first-level degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
• At least five years of progressively responsible experience in computer information systems
• At least five years of hands-on experience developing Knowledge Management solutions with SharePoint, SharePoint Online and SPFX
• At least four years of hands-on experience with Power Automate and Azure Logic App
• At least three years of experience managing an IT software development team
• Fluency in English
