Roster for Telecommunication/ICT Statistics Programme

ITU's ICT Data and Analytics Division is hiring consultants to collect, verify and analyze telecommunication/ICT statistics from member states and other sources. Consultants support data collection, research, database management and analytical reporting on global digital trends.

• Collect telecommunication/ICT statistics
• Conduct desk research on telecommunication/ICT
• Verify data collected by other consultants and staff
• Exchange with and validate statistics provided by member states
• Input and retrieve data and metadata into IDA database
• Analyse ICT data and write short analysis
• Compute estimates with detailed documentation

• University degree in statistics, economics, engineering, international relations or business
• At least 3 years of research experience collecting, processing and analyzing statistics
• Advanced English required

• Experience at the international level and in telecommunication/ICT statistics an advantage
• Knowledge of a UN language an advantage

• Daily rate USD 185-280 depending on years of experience
• Contract duration varies from 15 to 80 working days
