Job Description

Supports UN-Habitat’s Brazil Office in delivering its urban-development programme. The consultant follows project workplans and reports, strengthens documentation and quality processes, identifies risks, and helps coordinate technical activities. The role also provides guidance on localising international development agendas, supports partnerships and representation, and documents knowledge from meetings, consultations and training activities.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Support project planning and implementation

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or additional 5 years of experience
  • At least 4 years of relevant project or programme management experience
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English
  • Brazilian nationality or permanent visa in Brazil

Desired Criteria

  • Postgraduate degree in a relevant field
  • Experience with digital tools or data visualisation
  • Previous experience within the UN system
  • Working knowledge of Spanish
