INTERPOL seeks a seconded Assistant Director for the Executive Directorate Partnerships and Planning in Lyon. The role manages the Executive Office, drives strategic planning, coordination and high-level stakeholder engagement, supervises staff and monitors delivery of directorate priorities. It is a 36-month secondment for qualified law-enforcement or government officials from member countries.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive Director in planning, coordinating and prioritizing directorate activities
- Draft and supervise strategic correspondence, reports and documents
- Manage Executive Office performance, budget and staffing matters
- Represent EDPP in internal and external stakeholder meetings
- Supervise project teams and monitor milestones and deadlines
- Maintain senior-management reporting on significant matters
Role Requirements
- Law-enforcement or governmental official from an INTERPOL member country
- At least four years of university education
- At least 10 years of work experience including management and leadership of diverse teams
- Fluency in English
- Ability to provide official proof of professional experience
Desired Criteria
- Experience in international diplomacy or strategic policy development
- Transformational-change experience including IT applications
- Proficiency in Arabic, French or Spanish
