Summary of Responsibilities
- Advise senior leadership on innovation strategy for law enforcement
- Drive INTERPOL innovation capability and an annual flagship event
- Develop the Innovation Centre as a global reference point for policing innovation
- Monitor innovation deliverables aligned with the Strategic Framework
- Coordinate externally funded innovation projects
- Support member countries and directorates in applying innovative practices and AI-enabled solutions
- Lead sub-directorates and structured pilot initiatives
- Build partnerships with academia, private sector, civil society and international organisations
Role Requirements
- Secondment vacancy restricted to law enforcement or governmental officials within INTERPOL member countries
- Home administration must confirm agreement to the conditions of secondment through the NCB
- Master's degree in a relevant domain
- Profound executive-level expertise in international police cooperation, strategy and innovation in a law enforcement environment
- Extensive knowledge of innovation processes
- Ten to fifteen years of successful managerial experience and leadership in international cooperation or innovation
- Fluency in English
- Enhanced security clearance is required
Desired Criteria
- Proficiency in Arabic, French or Spanish is desirable
- Fluency or proficiency in more languages is an additional asset
- Experience with complex change management
- Ability to work in a multicultural and diverse environment
- Ability to develop and maintain professional networks

Additional Information
- Secondment duration is 36 months
- Home administration remains responsible for salary, insurance, pension, benefits, allowances and travel or removal costs
- Confirmation of agreement to secondment conditions must be forwarded through the NCB
