Job Description
This online volunteer assignment develops a source-annotated Green Paper on how artificial intelligence may reshape work, skills and opportunity for young people in Moldova. It turns Moldova-specific and regional evidence into an accessible policy analysis, consultation questions and possible directions for inclusive, responsible AI adoption in national dialogue.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Review the UNDP research package and agree the Green Paper's purpose, audiences, structure and source standards
- Develop a narrative linking Moldova's development context, young people's experiences and AI-related opportunities and risks
- Draft a clear, policy-relevant English Green Paper on artificial intelligence, work and young people
- Synthesize evidence on changing work, education transitions, digital skills, migration, inclusion and responsible AI governance
- Undertake targeted desk research in Romanian and English to address priority evidence gaps
- Translate analysis into consultation questions and possible policy directions without presenting unapproved commitments
- Revise the draft after consolidated UNDP comments and submit the final Green Paper online
Role Requirements
- Strong desk-research and analytical skills
- Ability to assess source credibility and work carefully with references
- Clear, concise and well-structured writing in English
- Ability to synthesize complex evidence into policy-relevant findings
- Familiarity with Moldova's social, economic or policy context
- Romanian and English required

- Experience in labour markets, education, skills, youth employment or inclusive growth
- Experience in digital transformation, technology policy or responsible artificial intelligence
