Analysts research economic developments, manipulate macroeconomic data, maintain databases, apply econometric tools and improve links between external and internal data systems.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Research economic and policy topics
  • Collect and manipulate macroeconomic data
  • Maintain economic, financial and statistical databases
  • Apply econometric and statistical tools
  • Evaluate relationships and time-series data
  • Design interfaces between external and internal databases
  • Collaborate with economists on analytical projects

Role Requirements

  • Recently completed bachelor degree in a relevant quantitative field
  • Cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 out of 4.0 or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and econometric software
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Accuracy while working independently

Desired Criteria

  • Advanced degree with limited combined professional experience
  • Knowledge of Python or R
  • Tableau, Power BI, data-visualisation or web-design skills
  • Proficiency in another language
